
Spring Equinox Pilates & Forest Bathing

Service Description
An equinox is one of two days in the year when the sun crosses the equator and day and night become equal in length. The vernal or spring equinox marks the beginning of astronomical spring, while the autumnal equinox marks the beginning of autumn. The Spring Equinox is an opportunity to celebrate the changing of the seasons and start of a new life cycle. You will be able to take time to give thanks and allow yourself to dream about how you want your coming months to look and most importantly, feel as the spring and longer nights approach. Cath from Highland Quietlife and Katie from Spey Pilates have designed this day to give you space to do just this. You will start your day Forest Bathing with Cath, allowing yourself an opportunity to calm your mind and connect with one of the greatest healing tools we have at our disposal, Nature. When you are feeling more calm and connected is when we will take you inside to begin some gentle and mindful movement with Katie. Our focus during this session will be to just move the body and maybe if we are lucky enter into that gorgeous flow state, offering the mind and body more nourishment through movement. This will be beginner friendly. We will then grab ourselves a tea and a nibble supplied by Fionas Wholefoods and begin our guided journalling, nature crafts or pottery to conclude the day. This session is open for you to take it anywhere you feel inspired to and we will be there to help guide and support. You will be given a journal, or if you already have one you love to write in, take that with you. You may want to use this as a creative outlet maybe using some pieces you foraged in your Forest Bathing session or you may want to use this as an opportunity to dream and plan for the coming months or maybe even a combination of both. We don't always have to wait until New Year to create positive change. We hope you decided to join us on this nourishing day to celebrate and re-calibrate this Spring Equinox. Location: Nethy Bridge Community Hall Time: 10am-2pm Date: Saturday 22 March 2025 Cost: £29 per person What to take? - Yoga or Pilates Mat - Water Bottle - Clothes suitable for movement - Appropriate outerwear (Jacket, shoes for walking, waterproofs if needed) - Packed lunch. We will be providing tea and snacks but please feel free to bring your own packed lunch to nibble during our journalling session.

Booking and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations: Once paid, bookings are non-refundable. Weather: The session will still go ahead if it is raining, unless it appears to be a heavy storm of wind / rain / snow etc – if we need to cancel the walk I will text you an 1 ½ hours before the start time at the latest.
